Looking to the Future
As we begin Term 2, I warmly welcome our students, staff and families back to Oran Park Anglican College. I trust the Easter break was a time of rest and renewal, and that our community returns refreshed and ready for the term ahead.
Our theme for 2026 continues to guide us: to be a faith‑fuelled community of excellence. This is more than a statement—it is a commitment to who we are and how we live, learn and lead together each day. It speaks to our desire to nurture students who grow not only in knowledge and skill, but in character, purpose and faith, supported by strong partnerships between home and college.
Term 2 is always a time of rich learning and momentum across the College. Classrooms, co‑curricular programs, service opportunities and community events all provide space for students to deepen their learning and to contribute positively to the life of our College. I remain deeply grateful for our dedicated staff, whose professionalism and care enable our students to thrive in a learning environment where they are known, challenged and supported.
OPAC Masterplan
Looking ahead, we are also excited to share a number of upcoming capital works projects that form part of our long‑term Masterplan and support the continued growth of the College to 1,400 students. From mid‑year, works are scheduled to commence to improve our stormwater basin, construct an extension to our carpark providing 52 new parking spaces, and build new maintenance shed facilities. These projects will enhance both the functionality and sustainability of our campus and support the practical needs of a growing college community.
The next building works
In addition, we are currently awaiting development application approval for our next Senior School building. This significant project will cater for our expanding Senior School and include eight new classrooms, a canteen, and two new kitchens, thoughtfully integrated alongside Building E. Once approved, this building will represent an important next step in ensuring our students learn in high‑quality, purposeful spaces that support collaboration, creativity and excellence.
These developments are an exciting testament to our shared vision for the future of Oran Park Anglican College. They reflect careful planning, stewardship and our ongoing commitment to providing facilities that enrich the educational experience of every student.
Thank you, as always, for the trust you place in the College and for the partnership we enjoy with our families. I look forward to another meaningful term as, together, we continue to grow a faith‑fuelled community of excellence.
May the favour of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us—yes, establish the work of our hands.”
